"San Andreas" is a disaster action film released in 2015. As a massive earthquake hits Nevada's Hoover Dam, triggering a 7.1 magnitude earthquake along the San Andreas Fault, chaos ensues. Ray immediately sets out to rescue his wife who is trapped in a collapsed building in Los Angeles. Along the way, he teams up with Emma's new boyfriend, a wealthy real estate developer named Daniel Riddick (Ioan Gruffudd).

As the disaster intensifies, Ray and Emma's daughter, Blake (Alexandra Daddario), who is in San Francisco, becomes stranded in the city after another major quake strikes. Ray diverts his efforts to save their daughter, while simultaneously dealing with aftershocks, collapsing buildings, and massive tsunamis.

The film showcases the destruction and devastation caused by the earthquakes, with iconic landmarks crumbling and entire cities being decimated. Ray's determination and resourcefulness are tested as he battles against time and overwhelming odds to rescue his family.

Throughout the film, "San Andreas" focuses on the emotional journey of the Gaines family, exploring their fractured relationships and the will to survive amidst the catastrophic events.
